Analytical and Operational Modal Analysis Applications in COMPOSITE STRUCTURES

Today, composite materials are very popular in areas of engineering. These materials are also used in civil engineering. It is planned to increase the durability of civil engineering structures against static and dynamic loads by designing them as composites. It has been separately revealed by current scientific articles that the composite construction technique, which is used with a correct application in buildings, makes very positive contributions to the rigidity of the structure, its natural frequency or to the reduction of excessive building mass, which is a negative situation. Composite structures also come to the fore, especially with their performance in avoiding the resonance effect. In this book, different types of structures are created with different composites and examined both with the finite element method and with the operational modal analysis method, which is a new technique. In addition, the wind effect is also included in the examples. We hope that the book will be useful to all academics working in this field and civil engineers working in practice by using the analytical modal analysis and operational modal analysis method, which is a current and innovative approach based on different engineering studies about the new and popular composite construction technique.
